Privacy Policy

Data we store

• Family data: the family name, what each member is called, their role (adult / child), grade, and color.
• Events: title, date and time, location, related members, things to bring, payment items, notes, and the excerpt of original text used when reading with AI.
• Devices: a randomly generated anonymous identifier for each device, when it joined, and its push notification token (push token).
• The organizer's Sign in with Apple: we store only the user identifier provided by Apple, used to recover the family when changing phones. We do not receive your name or email address.
• Subscription: the App Store transaction ID and expiration date, used to remove ads for the whole family. Payments are handled by Apple; we cannot see any payment information.

This data is stored on Cloudflare servers and can be seen only by members of the same family.

Photos and voice

• Photos you take of school calendars, class notes or screenshots first have their text recognized on your phone, and are then turned into events through Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Photos are never uploaded to our servers, and they are deleted from your phone once you confirm or discard the result. By Apple's design, Apple Private Cloud Compute does not retain your data.
• "Speak" uses Apple's speech recognition, which runs on the device when your phone supports it. We store only the text you confirm.

Ads

The free version shows a full-screen ad, provided by Google AdMob, after you finish something (for example, adding events read with AI). We do not use App Tracking Transparency to track you. Advertisers may collect device and usage data under their own policies; see the Google Privacy Policy. Users in the EU and the UK see a consent dialog first.

Devices that joined as a child do not show ads. Once any family member subscribes to "Support the Developer", ads no longer appear for anyone in the family.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we send them through the Apple Push Notification service when a family member adds an event that involves you, as a reminder each evening about the next day, and (for the organizer) when a new device joins the family.

Deleting data

• Members can tap Leave Family on the Family tab; the data and push token for that device are deleted.
• The organizer can tap Delete Family; all members, events and device data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Children

This app is meant for parents. A child can be just a name and does not need an account. If a child joins with their own phone, that device does not show ads and cannot purchase a subscription.
